Our security is the guarantees of the owners of the business. A mortgage is not normally taken. We do take a caveat over property owned by the guarantors. The caveat is only registered if the borrower fails to repay on the due date. This means that our securities do not interfere with existing borrowings.

Acceptance criteria

The qualifying criteria are:

• You must have been in business for over 2 years
• Owners of business must own property
• You must have clear credit history
• Purchases of perishables or stock with short expiry dates will not be funded
• Applicants must have cumputerized accounting systems and be EFTPOS users

Consideration will be given to applicants who cannot fit the above criteria yet have additional security.
